Although your financial situation should not limit your workout plans on occasion it will get on the way. The motivation to keep up with your weekly or daily workouts sometimes becomes hard with limited financial resources, depending on where you are with your fitness journey. Constant dedication to a workout plan is necessary to get that ripped body and this dedication may be not there if you have a demanding after which you just want to rest in your bed. If you hit this mental plateau, it is not easy getting back the motivation to constantly workout. Some simple solutions can be used to beat both the mental plateau and financial limitations.
When your finances are limited or you are on a mental plateau, setting up a home gym is the best solution. From a perspective of hygiene, a home gym is better for you. It is common for the owners of communal gyms not to clean up the machines and equipment after they have been used. You can either work out with dirty machines or you may have to clean them yourself before you start your session. This does not only waste your time but also exposes you to health hazards. Consider how much time you will save every week by not having to get into the car to drive to the gym. Most of the equipment such as squat rack, bench and adjustable weights will cost you some good money but it will be cheaper in the long-run. What’s more, you can keep on adding barbells, treadmills and pull-up bars to your home gym. With a free gym in your home, the motivation to work out will automatically present itself.
Makeshift workout is another great solution to working out especially if you are on a financial plateau or if you do not have a space to set up a home gym. Without visiting the local gym or setting up a home gym, you can still get that ripped body. Use whatever item is available to you just like people did hundreds years ago when there were not gym machines. A backpack filled with heavy items such as books can serve as a great weight for doing squats. Doing inverted push-ups on a staircase increases the angle just like doing pull ups from a tree branch. A good workout is about the basics of using your bodyweight and carrying heavy items like backpacks just like they do in army training. With these, you will be able to keep your motivation high and keep fit on a budget.
