Raleigh, N.C. — The Poe Center for Health Training is giving free lunches each and every Wednesday for children this summertime.
The lunches will be merged with health-schooling programming that delves into subject areas like nutrition, physical exercise, dental health, summertime security and gardening.
The program is open up to those 18 and more youthful and will be held at PlayWELL Park at the Poe Center at 224 Sunnybrook Highway in Raleigh. Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will be adopted by activities.
Dates and subject areas/routines:
- Wednesday, June 15 – Drink water-theme with flavored h2o recipes and tastings.
- Wednesday, June 22 – Kids’ Zumba
- Wednesday, June 29 – Dental health routines and cost-free toothbrushes (whilst supplies final) with Dental Dental’s new mascot debut, Emerald Pine tooth fairy.
- Wednesday, July 6 – Summertime Basic safety
- Wednesday, July 13 – Kids’ Yoga with When Daddy Reveals Me the Sky kid’s ebook writer Rebecca Wheeler
- Wednesday, July 20 – Honey tasting with Bee Downtown
- Wednesday, July 27 – Make-and-Choose Treats with NC PTA
- Wednesday, August 3 – Examine the GrowWELL Backyard and actions with Marbles Young children Museum
