Tao of Attracting Life

Could it really be possible that everything that we are, have, and do, is a direct or indirect result of our own attraction powers? The answer, in my own humblest opinion, is that, undoubtedly, we do attract what we get; whether it be on a conscious level, or, more often than not, an unconscious one. Undoubtedly.

It was by some coincidence that I happened one day across a book by the late, great Lynn Grabhorn, who had written a highly entertaining and thought-provoking book entitled ‘excuse me, your life is waiting’, all about the Law of Attraction, which at that point in time I was fairly unfamiliar with. It detailed her own previously disastrous attempts at ‘making it’ in life, including relationships, finances, life decisions etc., and how through her own discovery and manipulation of these ancient and timeless principles, managed to turn her life around to where she really wanted it to be. Lynn offered some great little tricks in the book for the ‘unbelievers’, like the ‘woo woo wands’ as she called them, which were basically two unravelled coat-hangers which you placed loosely in your hands in order to see your surrounding energy change when you shifted your thoughts and feelings from positive to negative and vice-versa. The ‘wands’ would virtually expand or contract, depending on how you directed your energy…..I kid you not! The other little tricks in the book basically did the same thing, getting you to be aware of how you are flowing your energy and how to change that flow if needs be. Sounds crazy, but it really isn’t.

Modern science has actually proved now that everything is comprised of energy. Everything, no exceptions, including you and I too, brothers and sisters, and they have also firmly proved that energy cannot be snubbed out, or killed. It doesn’t die, cannot die, only shifts form. So everything is made of energy in some sense. And what does energy do? It functions on wavelengths, attracting or being attracted to whatever is out there on a similar frequency, hence the saying ‘like attracts like’. We are all just like walking magnets, attracting to ourselves whatever is on the same wavelength or frequency as ourselves, whether we are aware of it or not, whether it is good or bad. And like I said before, more often than not, we are not in the least bit aware, and yet we still attract.

So if we’re attracting anyway, even through subconscious frequencies, imagine what could be achieved if some powerfully focused conscious effort were employed. Focusing on the objective, clearing away all thoughts of doubt or lack, focusing only on what needs to be achieved (not even how it is going to happen) and watching the events in our lives responding to our own ‘woo woo wands’.

The thing is, this is not fallacy. More and more people are constantly becoming aware of these principles; they are nothing new, they have been around since the dawn of time, and ‘successful ‘ people have always known and used them, whether consciously or not.

This is 2011, the new age. Human consciousness is expanding constantly, albeit gradually. The things that were once unfathomable become fathomable. All you have to do is believe.
