Chris Pratt has a case of speaker’s remorse.
The father-of-three knows his son, whom he had with his first wife Anna Faris, will see some comments he made that didn’t come off the tongue eloquently.
Back in November, the ‘Guardians’ actor shared a birthday post about his new wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, to social media.
Chris Pratt Opens Up About His ‘Healthy’ Child Comment
In the post he wrote, “She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love! She helps me with everything.”
Pratt and Anna share Jack.
Sadly, Jack was born nine weeks premature with many health problems. Today, he is a happy, healthy boy and the only ailment he has is his eyesight.
This obviously sent the internet into a tizzy with a majority of people coming to Anna’s defense. Many felt this was a slight aimed at the actress and their son.

Clearly, the whirlwind blew past Pratt’s house and it had a negative effect on him.
On Friday, November 5, the actor took to Instagram Stories to share how he was feeling after getting a hefty serving of backlash.
“Good morning everybody, I went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed, and I woke up feeling crappy,” he started off his video. “I didn’t want to work out but I knew that if I put on my Christian music playlist and got out in the woods and ran that I’d feel better.”
Chris Admits The Social Media Backlash Made Him Cry
Now the actor is speaking about the situation in his latest interview with Men’s Health magazine.
The “Parks & Rec” alum revealed that ‘slight’ assertion hurt him very much.
Chris Calls Backlash ‘F***ed Up’ & Bothersome
“That is f***ed up. My son’s gonna read that one day. He’s nine. And it’s etched in digital stone,” he said. “It really f***ing bothered me, dude. I cried about it. I was like, I hate that these blessings in my life are—to the people close to me—a real burden.”
Pratt and Katherine have two daughters together, Lyla and Eloise.
The actor also opened up about religion and the misconceptions fans have about him and his ties to religion.
“Religion has been oppressive as f*** for a long time. I didn’t know that I would kind of become the face of religion when really I’m not a religious person,” Pratt admitted. “I think there’s a distinction between being religious—adhering to the customs created by man, oftentimes appropriating the awe reserved for who I believe is a very real God—and using it to control people, to take money from people, to abuse children, to steal land, to justify hatred.”
He continued, “The evil in the heart of every single man has gloomed on to the back of religion and come along for the ride.”
Ironic how this interview came out after Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court of the United States.
