Chris Pratt ‘cried’ when fans said he insulted his ex-wife Anna Faris: ‘My son’s gonna read that one day’

Chris Pratt is opening up just after obtaining backlash online.

The Marvel actor, 43, spoke out about the social media frenzy that occurred just after he praised his spouse, Katherine Schwarzenegger in an Instagram write-up that mentioned their “healthy daughter.”

“[Ignoring Twitter comments is] a lesson I have uncovered. It is not a lesson that my son has discovered nonetheless,” Pratt shared with Men’s Health for their July/August protect.

“I said a little something like, ‘Find anyone who seems at you the way my spouse looks at me.’ And then I gave her some s–t in the matter and stated, ‘But I really like you. I’m so thankful for my wife – she gave me a wonderful, healthy daughter,'” Pratt said.

“And then a bunch of articles arrived out and said, ‘That’s so cringeworthy. I just can’t consider Chris Pratt would thank her for a healthy daughter when his initial child was born premature. That’s this kind of a dig at his ex-wife.’”

Just after the adverse backlash transpired, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star was anxious about the lasting impact it would have on his son, Jack, 9.

“That is f–ked up. My son’s gonna study that one particular working day,” he claimed. “He’s nine. And it is etched in digital stone. It genuinely f—king bothered me, dude. I cried about it.”

“I was like, I despise that these blessings in my life [like my career] are — to the individuals shut to me — a authentic load,” he continued.

Pratt and Faris wed in Bali in 2009 and welcomed Jack in 2012. The few talked about Jack’s early lifetime in an interview with GQ in 2014.

“He was born at a few lbs ., and we were being told, ‘OK, you will need to be prepared for boosting a special-needs baby,'” Faris informed the outlet. “And we felt like it was devastating, but it also felt like, you know, ‘We can do this.'” 

The “Parks and Recreation” alum was married to Faris, 45, from 2009-2018. Faris is now married to cinematographer Michael Barrett.

The “Jurassic Planet” actor and Schwarzenegger wed in June 2019 and have due to the fact welcomed two daughters. Lyla, 2, born in August 2020 and Eloise was born in May.

Amid the backlash, Pratt obtained praise from his mother-in-regulation, Maria Shriver.
